Death of a Video Camera (video)

Postby GrizzlyGuy » Wed Apr 23, 2008 8:01 am

All I can say is that it seemed like a good idea at the time. $400 worth of destroyed video equipment later... didn't seem like such a good idea.

This is the PERFECT reason I purchase the "drop kick" warranty from circuit city. I have replaced cameras before under their warranty. would buy it again EVERY time.

currently getting my nikon p2 repaired under the same "drop" situation.

Hell yeah, I'm laughing! The whole thing happened last fall, 2 days after TNF fire restrictions ended (rode out there and camped on day 1). I'm SO OVER it. Wish my wife was. She never lets me forget those kinds of things...

Dude, if you were wondering why I didn't bring the video gear out to Fordyce... see your video. Yeah, I've got a Pelican case, but I used a hole saw to make a big hole in the bottom of it to let the wires out.

Glad it entertained you Angelo, laugh away. And D2 is right: had I bought it from Circuit City instead of Amazon... could have got a free replacement!

OK, back to watching Trying to Break Stuff for about the 150th time for me. That's all I got to keep me going, cause the snow WON'T STOP FALLING up here. :-({|=

No one said you had to be smart to ride an ATV - or have your own web site.
