Just got home from 2 days of riding down @ Huntington Lake. Great trails down there. Was going to do a day trip Dusy - Ershim tomorrow but BROKE down this afternoon. So if I can't get my buggy fixed I'm not going to make it. I was so looking forward to going. I've owned Jeeps and lived here my hole life and never done Fordyce before. And I wanted to meet peep from this forum.

And the GOOD NEWS is I think i can get it FIXED (edit 10:22 Wed)

Thank for the offer.
It's the front right lower CV joint boot. The oil was just pouring out of it when I did a walk around @ Coyote Lake. I'm fairly new @ this quid riding thing and have never fix one myself before. I've lost two of them before but they were just pin holes and didn't leak much oil before I have them fixed. I don't want to damage anything by running it.

I will arrive Friday, but not before 10 am. Prolly closer to noon. But I'd sure like to shoot down to Fordyce before all the crawling fun is over. Maybe a group of us late-arrivals can head to Fordyce together. Just sayin.

I cant fix a lot, but done that before. If you have a boot, i have a pickel (ie, tuning fork thing to get your bearing off your a-arm so you can pull the axle to replace. You might not even need that i think i just had to do it since i was replacing my a-arm as well. Im leaving soon for GV ill through it in my truck. Let me know if you need help. Ive never seen oil pour out of a boot though, its thick ass grease in there, dosent pour to well.

Thanks but I have it covered. But I will pick your brain on how to do it when I see you on Fri. I have 3 sizes of Pickel fork so i'm sure I can get it done if I know how.
Thanks again for the offer. :D
