Gps Help

I have a Magellan Meridian Platinum hand held GPS that I received as a gift about 5 years ago. Never really used it much. I put batteries in it and it appears to work great. It has a SD slot for uploading map software. Anyone know where I might be able to find a western topo map on SD for this device or which maps are even compatible with this GPS? I contacted Magellan and spoke with a dumbass that kept telling me no updates are available. He never seemed to understand that all I was asking is for a brand name or vendor for a western us topo map on SD or even a list of compatible maps. Im sure since it was not listed on his computer screen as a FAQ he was totally lost. I called Tigergps and was told to call Magellan Im starting to feel like I might be SOL but thought I would check here.

try gps visualizer you might be able to find somthing there.i have a garmin so im sorry i cant help any more. somebody on hear should be able to if not let me know and i will try and find something out for you.

You want to look for Mapsend Topo 3D. I just got a copy from Ebay a few months ago. Also your best bet for info is the Magellan Yahoo Group.
