well me and couple widgeon went up today and found some awsome riding.wish the guys that went last week went today but thats always the story! :roll: we made it to the high lakes ,lots of snow but its crazy how fast it melts!where i was stuck last week in the pic ,that area only has a half foot of snow now! just a few pics for now more to come!

hope you had a good time i was at Lodaga/eastpark res.
for the weekand.

the people where just insane we came home yesturday
but was good swimming with the heat.

awesome. great pis as always wish I could have made that one. :lol: I went up to sly creek yesterday with the wife did 60 miles great riding but man it was crowded, I never saw so many people out on the trails,

yea Dave we went to LODGA and man i couldn't belive the amount of people that where there sens the stonyford camping area was full every one with atv's and Utv's where all over lodga and Coulsa county's
sheriff's where out in force giving out tickets and stoping people
every where Hey mike was highlakes crowded.

we only had to wait a few times for trucks. most people i have ever seen but alot didnt try to go down into the lakes.one group camping at the lake in the pics! didnt do alot of riding on roads stayed on the trails as much as possible. seen two utvs up top and 3 other quads all day!

It looks like a great ride. I really like the photo of the two quads in front of the lake. What is the elevation where the snow starts? I am hoping to get into Robinson Flat above Forest Hill before we leave for Colorado this year. Maybe the snow will melt in time.

the lake is at 6281ft the highest we got was 6700ft.we hit snow around 5800ft in places.but its melting fast!!

Wow, that's amazing. We rode Boca on Saturday all the way to the Verdi Peak signal house (~8400 ft) and saw VERY minimal snow. We actually started riding around the 6000 foot level and there is absolutely no snow there. By this weekend there probably won't be any at the peak either.

Still want to hit High Lakes sometime this year, and maybe in the next few weeks, since it looks clear enough to make it now and the dust will be at a minimum.

the dust down low was horible :shock: there is a good stretch that is allready powder.
