Patton Trail (Video including Tribute)

Postby GrizzlyGuy » Wed Apr 16, 2008 6:47 pm

This video shows Flyin Boy and I climbing the lower part of Patton Trail out in Utah's Arapeen trail system. I included a tribute to one of my heroes, old "Blood and Guts" himself (General George S. Patton).

Kudos to fellow video producer RedGrizz for coming up with the low rear shot that we use a lot in this one. 8)

Uh-oh Hellcat, you may have watched one too many of my videos. Flyin Boy did his 'cha-cha-cha' thing at the end of the Speed Run video. I busted up laughing, completely forgetting that he had done the same 'cha-cha-cha' thing in an outtake following our drive overs for Get Ready (see the short outtake).

Yeah, you gotta watch it with him. Once he hooks you on the cha-cha-cha...

The next thing you know he's got you leaping off cliffs, bungee jumping off towers and all kinds of crap that you'd never normally do, even when drunk.

Crimeney, I'd rather just ride around the Peavine area and risk getting shot!

Update: Nah, the outtake wasn't his first cha-cha-cha. It was in some other shoot. Too many videos, too little brain cells left.

Thanks, Fish. Yeah, ole Blood and Guts sure was Da Man, and that Arapeen system sure is sweet. Wait til you see my next 2-3 videos from that day, the Patton Trail gets even better. Mud, scenery, rocks... just about all the great general could ask for. :D

Yup, I DO have too much time on my hands. Next year... I get a storage unit down lower for the Grizzlies. Or... you can pour (or drip) oil on my head if I don't. There, I'm now committed, right here in a public forum. 8)

Sorry Fish, but if your entirely unfortunate cudda-easily-been-me saga about oil motivates me to pull my head out of my arse, I gotta take it.
