Sierra Snow (the real video)

Postby GrizzlyGuy » Sat Jan 05, 2008 11:42 am

With the big snow storm going on, I guess I ought to release my Sierra Snow video. We are riding north of Yuba Pass right after that snow storm we had back in the first week of October. We'd definitely need sleds to hit that area right now.

Downloading as I speak, I'm still trying to get the HQ granite one. It starts out downloading great for the first 100MB , averaging 76-200 KB down to 10-15 KB and at times stops altogether. I'll get it eventually.

Well worth the wait. Awesome stuff, I never laughed so hard at your side saddle singing adventure.

That was bad ass, keep them coming. You guys are speed demons, Flyboy doesn't like tagging along, lol. Do you have the power steering models? I could see that being a big advantage for the types of riding you do.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, Flyin Boy tends to be a little heavy on the gas and usually ends up smokin' me, especially when he goes into his aerodynamic tuck as shown in the split-screen scene. Nothing I can do at that point but stand up, wiggle my butt around, and hope he glances back. Me looking that ridiculous hopefully causes him to come off the gas just for a second, and I can take him on the straightaway.

Yes QMaze, these are both 2007 Grizzlies with the power steering. I love that feature, but it's actually a lot more handy on rocks at slow speeds.

P.S. - I re-uploaded the high quality version of Granite and Grunge, so hopefully it will download OK for you now. It is a honker of a file, weighing in at 908 MB :!:

We were mostly in 2WD so as to allow for maximum drifting. :)

I'm glad you were able to download the high quality version of Granite and Grunge, QMaze. I can't wait until next spring to try to get some more of those low water/mud shots.

I'm awfully sorry you had to suffer through Casto Canyon Blues. We were so frazzled from spending all day riding up that trail like grampas to keep the dust down and get good video that we just had to do something silly or crazy on the way back down. Unfortunately I chose silly and I can't sing worth a damn.

We are using the 560-line cameras from these guys. When you ride like most ATVObsession members do, it is all about the quality of the protective mount. These guys have the best, hands down.
