Awesome pics, still can't get that Terry, (I knew him as Mr. Miyagi on ATV Wild) is not with us. So weird.

I hope I have friends who remember me the way you do with Terry. Great memories, no doubt. Must be a great bunch to hang out with.

Storm King Mountain

Postby zkeys » Fri Jan 04, 2008 5:26 pm

Hey Larry,
I was out near Glenwood Springs camping at the same time that Storm King fire happened. That is sad stuff man... Was it 14 firefighters that lost lives in that?
Thanks,

Zack, yes 14. There is a nice trail that leads up the mountain right off of 70, just west of Glenwood Springs. My brother used to live in Grand Junction and was married the weekend before the fire, we left the day before the fire on our way home. Next trip out to Moab try and set some time aside to make the hike, up near the top it's incredibly steep, pretty surreal as you reach the site, lot's of fire memorabilia in the trees and all the markers, eerie

Thanks Larry,
My family has been visiting Glenwood Springs for as long as I can remember, and we are heading out again this summer. So I will be camping about 30 miles South of GS for several days. I will make this hike a must do on this trip. There is also a decent ATV/4X4 road that takes off just North of Glenwood that I was hoping to do. Could be a good day to do both. Thanks again for the info.

Man, you guys are good with your cameras! I can't do still photography worth a hill of beans. Every time I try to shoot something it comes our wrong. For example, I was trying to shoot a rider once and ended up with a shot of a poser:

Well, it took me a while, because I wasn't sure I wanted to share. But since BC shared his Village People photo, I figured I would allow you all to see what I consider to be pics of an exceptionally sexy beast!! Check it out, almost looks like he's wearing earrings - which considering his heritage, would not surprise me!!

Then of course, a personal favorite, a nice closeup of our sexy ass administrator. Damn, I think I need a minute....... :unibrow: =P~
