Sierra Mission (Video)
While Keith was building his fence on Wednesday, I bagged a new (to me) Sierra peak on a 70-ish mile solo ride. This multi-cam video focuses on the final climb to a fantastic view.
Just for fun, I'm not going to tell you which peak this is. I suspect it isn't new to lots of you. Don't be confused by the intro, the title scene shows me heading down from Jack's Spot, but that isn't the peak I bagged.

Ok...watched it. Cool video, even though I couldnt' figure it out. I know where you shot the intro....
Speaking of which...one day....bye bye camera..lol.
Taking on the rocks....lookin' good.
Either Grizzlyguy has cameras laid out all over the Sierras...or Eric does a lot of backtracking...lol. I feel like I'm watching Survivorman...knowing the good walking away shot, meant walking BACK for the camera.

You got it, Ken. Lots and lots and LOTS of backtracking to get the camera, set camera up again, etc. That's why it takes all day to shoot a little video like that. At least I sometimes get to ride back for the camera, but poor ole Les Stroud (Survivorman) always has to walk. He should get himself a Grizzly.Ken wrote: Either Grizzlyguy has cameras laid out all over the Sierras...or Eric does a lot of backtracking...lol.
