Assault on Arapeen (Video)

Postby GrizzlyGuy » Fri Nov 02, 2007 6:32 pm

This is an epic tale of 3 men and their machines against nature, in the form of Utah's Arapeen Trail System. Fillmore, Utah's own Mad Dog Mark joins the usual Grizzly Guy Productions cast (Flying Boy and Grizzly Guy) and delivers a once in a lifetime performance. This is my longest video ever, weighing in at over 7 minutes. What can I say, Arapeen is a BIG place so it's hard to edit down all the BIG action.

Almost all of this video (except for the opening scenes) was shot along Arapeen trail 29. We were there a few weeks ago, right after they had a pretty decent storm go through. I'm sure glad I had my Sven Saw on board.

Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed it. If you like mine then you might want to check out some of ATV Guru's videos. Great stuff, he's my inspiration. Someday I'll make just one that is as good as his and I can retire and get a real job.

I've only got 835 miles on my Grizzly. 103 of the miles on my wife's were from my ride to Gold Lake on hers. So less than 1000 miles overall for me, not counting whatever I put on the old Grizzly this season (not a lot). My miles are down this year because of all the video making. On the Utah trip, it took us ALL DAY to ride the top of an especially scenic trail (Casto Canyon) that was only about 4 miles long. If the video ends up coming out crappy we're really going to be bummed that we wasted all day shooting it.
