Yeah, REI. OK, they're more on the greenie side of things, since it's all about non-motor sports. But I've been happy with many things purchased over the years. One thing I was not pleased about was the inability to replace the bite valve on my hydration pack. I got it about 4 years ago for riding my mountain bike and the silicone sleeve is worn, and the shutoff valve leaked. It was disappointing to find they did not have replacement parts for this house-brand pack.

What makes me recommend REI at this point is their satisfaction policy - they were able to look up my purchase from 2005 (!) and give me a full credit for it. I happily purchased a new Camelbak pack - a substantial upgrade over my old little pack.

I could not be more pleased, with REI supporting their product, even though discontinued, after this amount of time. I'm happy to be a member (it's a co-op, for those who don't know).
