Hey Larry...How was the race??

Larry, so graciously, sent me camera phone photos from his perch... in Turn 2 or 4...I couldn't tell.

Weather was about the same as home, damn cold. They were calling for snow down in Las Vegas on Saturday and expected the Busch race wouldn't happen. Luckily the Weather Guessers are as good there as they are here and missed the forecast and all events went on as planned.

Typical NASCAR crap on Sunday, 4 cautions for "debris" just to tighten up the pack as Kenseth was in a league of his own. Tony Stewart is a complete jackass, I listened to him briefly and between "F Bombs" and whining I got the impression he was mad at Kyle Busch for something  Our new seats are great, just past the start finish line in the new Petty Terrace, with an incredible view of the entire track.

The highlight of the week was learning to play Craps and visting the Bass Pro Shops store and getting a new jacket for the races

Yep, fully loaded too. They probably have close to 50 boats inside, a dozen Arctic Cat quads, countless amounts of fishing tackle, hunting gear, camping gear, guns a plenty, quad accesories, and clothing. It's an all day event just to walk through the place....and it's attached to their Silverton Casino. You can shop till you drop...then gamble to pay for it all

Wow...bad ass.

Next year the track should be Atlanta fast too...with the new banking.

Did you see those new Track Pass things in the crowd??? I guess you rent this thing...and watch video or something...listen to drivers and control your own replays...like Tivo.

Dude...you're just figuring out Tony Stewart is an ass?? He and Kurt Busch are the 2 most hated drivers, among the drivers. Stewart was pissed at Kyle Busch, because he wouldn't move over to let the great Tony Stewart pass. fawk Stewart...Kyle had a better car, overall...

The guy sitting next to us had one of the track scan/pass things. It was pretty cool, just limited to who you decide you want to watch, he said youy can only pick two cars and they have to have in car setups. I saw a bunch of them around necks so I'm betting they are money makers, $90 rental for the weekend.

I knew Tony was an "A hole" just never actually listened to him before. One of my friends picked him and wanted to listen. It was actually somewhat entertaining to listen to his crying. They had some kind of deal working and Busch was supposed to let Tony by. I guess Busch never got the message  After seeing what Tony did at Daytona to Kenseth and listening to him, I think he's lost it.

Yep, next year it will be a new track, probably need a year or two to get the speeds up, but when it does it should be fast. The problem with that is they were talking about restrictor plates at Atlanta, too fast.

I agree, as do all the drivers, but that never stopped NASCAR. Remember, they tried them at New Hampshire after Kenny Irwin and Adam Petty were killed.
