I have a couple friends that have the REALLY big ones...that carry full size camera....you actually know one Brian.

Ryan Rowe, who filmed us at MM7 at High Lakes. He has a business called 8 Iron Images. He often shoots Golf Courses.

Here's a video Ryan shot in the winter.

Here is a typical video of a Golf hole.

I'm attempting to get Ryan to come to the Rubicon, and film rigs on the trail with his copter for a video project I'm working on.

There's also a lot in the news about them

There are few towns trying to pass laws to stop them.....I think it's REALLY SIMPLE......if you hover your shit in front of a window to be a perv......Go to jail. I swear this country has turned into a law generating machine, instead of just enforcing the ones we have.

Sticky wicket. Spying, privacy concerns, law enforcement rights, etc. If something was flying low over my house, I'd use anything I felt like to knock it out of the sky (we're not talking aircraft height here!) That will be the interesting part of things - what control do you have over your property and how high does it go?

i bet your control over your property would go up 500 ft. most airplanes can't fly lower then 500 ft. and hobby RC planes aren't allowed to go higher then 500 Ft.
i bet my shotgun with turkey load would knock a drone down nicely ;)

Mine has a "follow me" mode. Since the drone only goes about 12 mph, don't expect to be racing around having the drone follow you. Also, the drone stays at the same altitude, so if you change elevation, the drone doesn't.....so trees become a consideration.
