PISTON COUNT

Postby DAVE » Sat Mar 19, 2011 9:53 pm

So it's been raining alot and I am bored.......I was haveing a discussion with my uncle about all the crap I have to maintain around the house and we got on the subject of who has the most Pistons..I know kind of weird but here goes.

I counted all of my internal combustin engines and started counting pistons, You know cars, trucks , lawn mowers, chain saws, weed wackers, motorcycles, quads, generators , leaf blowers, boats, ect.

So I will start..........I have 55 pistons........not sure thats some thing to be proud of, just more stuff to maintain.

How do you figure out how many pistons are in the engine thingy? :?:

Just kidding! Even I know that a piston is the round thingy that goes up and down in the cylinder thingy. :)

Only 19 here.

I think it's a cool topic.

35 at Casa Hower-Wilson. 55 is impressive.

BTW, I usually honor Earth Day by mowing the lawn, blowing off the driveway, whacking the weeds, testing the generators, ride both ATVs and drive to the bottom the hill in each car to pick up the mail (in 2 loads).

I like it! I usually just leave every light in the house on, but your way is way more harmful to Mother Earth. I'll have to do those things next time. :D

OK, I'm up to 20 pistons. I forgot about the dead snow thrower out on the front deck:
