The Walking Dead

Postby GrizzlyGuy » Sat Oct 30, 2010 8:49 am

This is a new AMC original series about survivors of a zombie apocalypse. The first episode is Halloween night (Sunday night) at 7-8:30 or 9-10:30. It is directed by the same guy that directed The Shawshank Redemption. The first episode was somehow pirated and is on the Internet, and people who have seen it say it is outstanding: well made, good acting, nothing like the usual B-movie zombie flick.

Don't miss this one. Zombies, guns, babes, death, survival. What could be better? :D

That sounds awesome. Definitely not your usual TV show.

I figured you guys would watch it. Just one question: why didn't you tell us that you are in the show?

Yeah, it was pretty good and I've heard a lot of people say the same thing. With all 6 episodes already made I doubt they would cancel it. Even if they did, I heard that you can buy the whole series on iTunes. I can't wait for the next one.

I don't have the link handy....

But the pilot opened to huge viewers and so did the 2nd episode. So AMC renewed it for Season 2 (13 episodes).

Now if they will only start broadcasting it in HD!! Grrrrrrr.
