For all of you that are looking or thinking about it, I would suggest moving right now. I don't know how big of a priority it will be for the new president and Congress to enact a new AWB, but I have heard rumors it's in the works already.

CA legal is really just a magazine lock. More than likely, you're better off building one yourself, because the gun store thinks those things are made out of gold. It'll cost you about $25-$30 for the magazine lock and you'll have to use a 10 rounder to be completely legal.

You can build you own rifle for around $600-$650 for a basic model.

Ar 15's ar the most fun I have ever had shooting a rifle. If you can get one, do it. After BO gets in office we are going to be in trouble. It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when. His bans will be worse than the brady bill, because they are not dumb enough to accept a sunset clause this time.

Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

1. Law enforcement already has teh ability to trace a gun from its manufacturer in seconds. Almost all major gun manufacturer have a database law enforcement can access 24/7 that shows where the gun went when it was shipped from the factory. The real reason they support repealing this law is because it bans cities from sueing firearms manufacturers as responsible parties in the event one of their firearms is used in a crime. In other words, they intend to sue the firearms industry out of business.

2. The gun show "loophole" is not a loophole at all. They want to ban private party sale of firearms. In CA, we already lost that battle, this would make every firearm transaction in the nation have government paperwork behind it.

3. Making guns safer for children = deeming them inapporable. Anyone ever made fun of the "Childproof bottle" as Adult proof?

4. Assault weapons are full auto and regulated heavily already. They want to deem semi automatic weapons as assault weapons. Because for some reason I cant kill someone as easily with a Remington 700 in .308 as I can with an AR 15 in .223

Here is some disgusting reading for you.
