the stock market effect any one els's job

well what a bitch due to the stock market fall i lost my job today
so looks like my quad will be sitting in the garge for a while
at least i can enjoy all your guys pictures.

If you don't mind me prying, how did the stock market cause your employer to dump employees? Who do you work for, or what industry?

I work in the surveillance feild for casinos mainly
As soon as the profits went down so did the need for workers I guess
That was there excuse the laid off 150 of us in the same week

Hey Aj, sorry about job loss. I work for Harrah's so I know how the Casino industry is. That new casino opening in Placerville off 50 called Redhawk was advertising for surveillance positions in the sunday paper today in Reno.
