Jack and I went to Ozzfest on Thursday. I'll post some pictures...but you can see them all here.

Just before the show, Priest stopped for some photos.

In Sacramento, the next night....Scott and Rob in the dressing room area kickin' back.

Kenan...the Rocker.

My kids are talking to Glenn Tipton on the bus, drinking free swag. I have no clue what they were talking about.

Racer X is Scott's other band. Actually, his first band that "Made it". I've known him for about 4 years.

Standing behind his set during Headed Out To The Highway was amazing. Glenn's speaker cabs were right there....they were fucking loud back there...that's why that's all you really hear besides drums. I'd peak out a couple times....there were 8000-9000 people out there...all AMPED!

I'm headed to go see Kevin Dubrow, Jani Lane, Bang Tango and Steven Adler right now. They were supposed to come to my house for a BBQ, but sound check didn't go so well. Jeff, the lead singer in Racer X, is playing drums tonight.

Bang Tango's big album was in 1989. Psycho Cafe and the 2 hit songs were Someone Like You and Don't Stop. You know them both if you were listening to rock in 1989.

Someone Like You, got airplay like Ratt's Round and Round....stations that weren't metal stations....played it.

Stations like KNAC, the metal powerhouse in LA....played a lot of Bang Tango.

Not sure if you've heard of KNAC, but it was the KING of metal radio in LA. You can still hear KNAC on the net. KNAC.COM

I think they're redoing the site....but still streaming songs.

Ratt..heh, thats a band I had backstage passes too back in the day, Ratt and Billy Squire the first year, then Ratt and Bon Jovi the next (Ratt was the headliner band), had a friend that worked at one of the local radio stations (who is still in radio as well, I did a stint as a board op for a while there later on (WFLA)) and he was able to hook me up with tix both years.

Terry, hush! :)

Very cool. I was at the Bon Jovi/Ratt tour. That was THE BREAST...er I mean Best show. So many hotties between Jon Bon Jovi and Stephen Pearcy.

Yeah..KNAC was the POWERHOUSE in the 80's. If you didn't get ur shit played on KNAC....you weren't making it....and vice versa.
