outlander 800 max XT tire help

Postby wellzy » Sat Apr 04, 2009 9:23 am

planning to get myself an outlander as the sportsman is going to that mud hole in the sky and becoming my new project. I want to fit 26x10x12 kenda executioners to the front and 26x12x12 to the back but will the outlander max take 26 inch tyres with no lifts?

I believe it will, since it has 26" on there as stock. HOWEVER - I also think you will have to go aftermarket rims or spacers because it won't like the extra width from any REAL 26" tire. The stockers say 26 on the side, but really measure out to about 25.

Depends on the tire too, I know Bighorns in 26" flavor are really closer to a 27, so spacing is definitely an issue.

Do you have any of the Kendas that you can measure up?

:tear: RIP Popo, we will miss you.

my mate's outlander came with 25" tyres?? :?:
I know that kenda tyres tend to measure short so the 25" ones i have on the polaris are actually 24.5", i don't have any 26" tyres but i will buy some kenda 26" tyres and if i have any problems i will just sell them as kenda tyres sell like free gold bricks round here.

I am not scraping the popo just, tinkering   8)
