 Oddly, in all my years of wheeling this is the first plug I have ever done. Hope it holds.

Crap...look at the size of that monster. Where did you get that?? And how long did you ride with it, do you think?

I got a nail in my 589's at Buck Island on the granite near the campsites...I put a plug in it.....and it's still there today. That was 2004 and haven't put any air in it, other than elevation changes.

I think I had it before we went to Bowman Road. I noticed before that ride the tire was a little low on air (had 2.5-3 and I run 5) but I figured it burped or elevation changes. Put it back up to 6 before our run, then Debbe took it riding on Sunday and it was flat. I have it filled to 10 right now to see if it leaks down at all.

OK dude, riding thru a construction site full of spikes is not what I would qualify as a 'weakness'.

You're supposed to WALK on the bed of spikes, not ride over them!

Ya know, if you're really concerned, you could pop that thing off the bead and patch it from the inside too. Might not hurt.

Yeah..sounds like the inside would be best.

I have noticed though, Safety Seal plugs are the best. They have slime in them. They have a killer repair kit.

I think you need Kendo, Nick, Lope, Lauren and Carrie to fix that, they are experts. They could fix that with some gum and some chew bacca.

I dont dare go to Kendo's for help. I like to prove I am worthy of my tools rather than feed his fire for giving me crap about my lack of fabrication skills! :finger: :P

It's not the same as the Pirate board, but it will have to do.
