Postby TEX » Tue Nov 20, 2007 11:42 pm

so my buddy has 2 Yama grizs one 350 and one 450 IRS the 450 is only 6 months old, bought brand new.

First: when he took deliverly of it and rode it for the first time the rear end went out. turns out it had NO OIL/FLUID in it.-replaced warranty

Second: left rear CV(at the wheel) blew into pieces 2 weeks ago when we went riding. not doing any thing crazy either-replaced warranty

Third: the paint(camo) is coming off on the front and rear body. replaced rear warranty not thr front???

what the heck its only 6 months old and all this trouble.

Yamaha forgot gear lube in a bunch of new machines. I know a couple guys that just bought 08 Rhinos and they had to take them back. Two problems, Yamaha missed it, then the dealer on the pre-delivery inspection. If they fixed one part of the camo the should take care of the other, no idea why they're even debating that.

I have two Yamahas and both are trouble free, an 05 Rhino and an 05 Kodiak

When the dealer sets up a unit and goes through the predilivery check sheet the dealer is responsiable for any issues after dilivery. Yamaha will not pay for them after that.
