Anyone have one of these?
I got one with no spark. I took off the cover for the magnito and motor oil came out. Should be dry right?

I don't have my manual any more. I Would put a screw driver in the Spark plug cap and kick the bike over.. If it shocks the $hit out of you the coils good..lol

One of our mechanics here is a old time Honda guy.. I'll ask him when he gets back from vacation..

I can't reach the cick starter and plug wire at the same time. Can you come over and hold the screwdriver for me.
When he gets back will be fine. I can't getting a manual just for this small problem.

I learned all about the dirt on a Honda QA 50, does anyone remember those. I'd like to see a picture of that 74 Trail. For those who have not seen a QA 50, here it is. Its not mine.

The QA50 was a version of the good old Honda Mini Trail 50. Now they make the CRF50, and grown men buy them and spend big buck$ tricking them out. They've always been fun to ride.

I had a Trail 70 with those funky handlebars, right????

I hate electrical. I don't recall oil being in the magneto housing!

Drain the oil, clean everything with contact/brake cleaner and reassemble.

Kick it over with no oil just to see if you get spark. If so, fix the leak next!

I am a little too far away to come and hold that screwdriver!

This one looks just like the one I had:

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!

I had a 70 just like that one, only it was orange.
Boy it was trouble...
I was down riding in a river bottom and these two men flagged me over.
I got to them and it was a couple of cops. They had flagged me over to private property and gave me a ticket for trespassing. Man my Dad sure gave them a hard time in court. The judge mad the two cops come and apologize to me. I was just a little guy and I was crying over the whole thing.
I got caught jump start it riding it down the street trying to get it started after running out of gas. A cop pulled up behind me and TICKET.
There must have been a couple of other times. But that was my first ride.
