Hehe, they have a way of doing that! :D
The complaints I have heard are as follows,
-short wheelbase make it a little tippy on off camber.
-shocks are stiff.
-skid plates leave a little to be desired.

Those are pretty much straight out of Dirt wheels. It looks like it would be a cool machine. Supposedly it is extremely quick, and you have to love E.F.I. on anything. I guess if you a larger framed individual (such as myself) you may not like it. However, I think the positives out weigh the negatives. So I say go for it!

Get one, you will love it.

I got mine a few weeks ago and its great, why better than I thought it would be.
Tippy? they are full of shit. On the rubicon I went in from the tahoe side to buck and it was never tippy, the skid plate under is fine for most. I slid it across more rocks that trip than most will as long as they own one.
But I do plan to improve the skid plate, same concept but maybe 5/16 or 3/8 uhmw and cover a few other areas.
The shocks are stiff, but its rides great on trails and soaks the bumps and water bars up like they are not there. As far as rock crawling, you lift tires alot but with the center of gravity so low it so big deal.

I would not trade mine to get a sportsman again.

I was leading rides in Moab at the UTV Rally and had several RZR's in my group. They are a pretty awesome rig (that's right Chadd I gave a Poo a prop). Anyway, they have no storage space. Why not another Ranger or even a Rhino

I'd deffinitly go Rhino. You could build a Rhino any way you want. With that Polaris motor there is no way to get anymore performance out of it. Rhino the options are unlimited.

Why can't you get more power out of the poo? Because its efi? you can remap the ecm. I know there are ecm and high compression pistions already for them. And Iam sure more will be coming soon.
But why? the 800 does fine as it is, if you really want more put a 2 stroke in it. Or buy a real rail/buggy.

Have you ever had something with too much power? Not possible, but that's just my opinion.

Ok I am an idiot, are those colors really available or is this just a good photoshop job? I thought they only had red but if these colors are available then I would go with the burgundy.

Mr. Bill I think that "Babies Ass Mustard" just screams your name, and if you go that way you can probably buy all of Ken's old yellow riding gear for that well coordinated look 8) 8)

That is the same motor that is in the quad. It is a old design pushrod parrallel twin. You just can't make much more power that they already have. The EFI is one obstical, Polaris has never been one to open up there EFI programs to the after market. They have been fighting to make power with the 700 ranger for a couple years now Hot seat has some cams and exhaust systems for the 700 but it's not a huge improvment.

We expiermented with the 700 sp cdi and TPS on the rangers and got a few more rpms out of it but again nothing that was really noticeable.

I was really hoping that when Polaris came out with the Razer they would do a new motor config maybe a sweet new v twin or something from KTM's arsenal
