Eh' MrBill...intake mod??

Had some hose left over from the pool we put in last year...Opened and raised the intake while I had the bike tore down this weekend.

Just used a heat gun(for paint removal) warmed up the hose,pushed it over the end of the intake then glued with "Marine Goop" and added screws. Took about 10min.

Nice job. That is the first time I've seen a mod like that. Everyone else goes out and buys the 800 intake tube.
Did you open up the in inside of the air box lid also?
So now I need to get a pool and I will have some hose left over :lol:

Cool..........................it seems like the air inlet on the pol's are a bit on the small side, but they seem to run fine,,xlnt mod.

Crazy isnt it? I took Some Search and Rescue classes last year and that is a peice of their equipment. To be honest I wouldnt want to be injured and pulled from the woods in it. I'd wait for the helicopter. That could be a dangerous ride. Good course though, learned alot.

Can somebody teach MrBill how to "crop" a photo though :twisted:
