My first real ride was this weekend in some good mud and snow. The visco lock seemed to work flawless the only time i got stuck was my fault. There is no tourqe steer when it engages. the best features is the lighter weight and the power. the thing i miss the most is the storage of the poo. i have a 800 if you want to try it out. the motor is smooth there are no rattles or vibrations like on my poo. the top speed is about 70 mph on a gravel road and some killer wheelies.

From my experience with the visco lock it works GREAT in situations where both tires can spin freely(ie in snow or mud, high speed hill climbs). Where I have seen it fall on it's face is where it has to build pressure to overcome the friction of a hard surface(ROCKS) It builds and lurches over the obsticle and sence there is not any more wheel spin it looses pressure and has to spin and build for the next time. If you stay on constand throttle it works well, but in extreme situations you just can't do that. Just my observations.

I hope to make it to the rocks before to long and try it out. The poo's 4wd definitly works awesome.. i remeber the poo 500 magnum rmk that had a Visco lock full time 4wd and it works great so I'm hoping the Can am is just as good.
