01 sportsman 4wd issue

My 01 sportsman 500 only has 3 wheels pulling in 4wd. My right front wheel is not engeging. I also noticed fluid leaking on the inside of the right front wheel. What may be the problem...

Not my area of expertise but it sounds like amybe bad seals in the front hub, the fluid has probably all leaked out causing the 4x4 to fail. I would first check the fluid and see if you have any inthere, and if not, it may need to be pulled all apart and cleaned and have the seals replaced.

Probably it...remember....there's not much fluid in there to start off with!

thanks for the help guys. I can see the seals are leaking so I'll replace them

I just checked the book...there's only 5oz....so it doesn't take much.
