Along with being EPIC, that's - as they say now - sick!

(PS - I would think that work of art on the roof would be reason enough NOT to roll it!)

That thing is unbelievably cool looking!

Were you doing this just to get something that looks awesome, or was there a problem with the original cage?

I changed the cage for safety and damage reasons.

The stock cage is thin gage mild steel. Most guys call it a one roll, roll cage. If you roll, it will protect you, but it's done. I will like be bent to hell. DOM, even smaller diameter (I went from 1.75 to 1.5") is MUCH stronger than mild steel.

Secondly, was damage. The stock cage ends behind the seats. So...if you roll over backwards, you would crunch all the plastic in the back. Don't plan on it....but you've been around awhile. :)

I also want to race it next year in the King of the Hammers UTV race.....so full cage would be required.

I really wanted the removable roof rack for camping too.....I hadn't like any of the ones you could buy pre-made.

If you want a full cage, and not spend a ton of dough....Dragonfire Racing now makes add ons to the stock cage...you can add V bracing in the front...and bar extenders down the back. They didn't exist when I started.
