Canadian GPS site...WTF they build a different one for Canada?

• Waterproof
eXplorist 600 is sealed to IPX-7 specifications, you don’t have to worry about getting it wet.

Those Canadians, first they invent the word "Eh" and "hoser", now they are redefining the GPS units.

I don't know what they have, but it ust be powerful. I'm looking for a clutch cover gasket and get told they are on a "National Backorder", not available until about April 1st. I call a Suzuki dealer in Victoria BC and he asks how many I want, yep hundreds available in Canada, not any in the US

Every time I see this posting I want to get one, but there are to many choices. . . I really like everything about the XL, except it does not have the Altitude information and barametric pressure information like the 600. The only thing I do not like about the 600 is it is not waterproof (unless you get the canadian model)

Mr.P....Someone needs to verify the waterproof issue..I'll email Magellen and post their response back here. I cant seethe 600 being just water resistant.
