On the pro armor they only list 600 and 700 but the 600/700 will fit.

I saw Jack's...it was wasted.

He uses it as a template for the plasma cutter and for all the Oil access holes.

It also doesn't really provide any additional support to the frame.

I am looking for the skid plates featured in the opening video (yellow Polaris) will they work on my 05 sportsman? I have to say this web site is awesome, I live in Long Island, NY and the nearest decent place to go riding is about 400 mi.(Tower City PA) away, watching some of the videos of you guys gets me fired up to make the 400 mi. drive and do some trails.

Thanks for having me!

The plate will work.

But even the ones that say they work...sometimes need minor mods. I had to drill one hole in my frame to bolt it up. I didn't have a hole, where the plate said I should. It was no biggie.

Here's the raw video

Here's the edited version I sent them. It's longer than what they used.

Postby dscsteel » Thu Feb 23, 2006 3:18 pm

are the plastic skidplate any good? I also have the catch plate attached for the glacier plow, I guess that will need to come off or be modified?

If you're not going to beat it up on the rocks....sure, it will serve as some protection....also will help slide on deeper snow.

Are these guards just for the underside of the a-arms, or do they also replace the plastic POS's that cover the front?

Thanks chadd...

BTW...I understand Polaris just came out w/a patch kit for the weak harness portion connecting to the T-BAP sensor...have you seen it?

Believe it or not, the front plactic guards are really not that bad..... As a matter of fact I don't use skid plates and the underside of my quad isn't torn up at all (well, maybe just a little).
