Two Wheel vs Four wheel Trailers

Postby Ken's700 » Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:31 am

Ok guys, what are the main differences to a two vs a four wheel trailer.

Does the trailer really need brakes?

Extra gas transportation?

Wear on drive belt?

Rear suspension shock pre-load settings?

Solar panel mounted to top of roof to power invertor/recharge deep cycle battery?

Thanks

True.

Having driven my Willys through many many times...and a quad...The trail is harder on the vehicle in a Jeep and harder on the body on a Quad.

You can avoid a lot of rocks on a quad...that in a Jeep, you'd have to drive over.

Don't forget, if you have alot of load to get trailer brakes.
The extra load can push you around a little.
