Colett Radio's?

Postby BearCat » Fri Nov 04, 2005 5:41 pm

How do you guys like them? Was talking to a friend about them and was wondering about range, vox, batt. life? Compared to other alternatives, they dont look to bad and would seem better than having 30ft of cord dangling from an frs system?

Bear.

I own one but haven't use it yet.... I'll let you know. One thing I'm not sure of is the small antenna.... I'm afraid when removing or putting on my goggles I might snag and bend it.....

Mine has bent...just a little.

It just screws in....so if it breaks...I'll just have 'em send me another.

To bad the antenna can't be a little fatter and shorter....

They used to be a sticker...that you put on the helmet. But then that defeated the ability to move it from one helmet to another.

You'll dig it when you finally get to use it. It's like night and day better than the POS Motorola/Motocomm combination.

Does anyone have a long term product review?
