Dude, trust me... You don't need that much light. Ken, Miren and I did the Rubicon (the same trip they're doing this weekend) at night about 1:00 AM and Miren did it most of the way without lights..... She had a short.

The RAM spotlight is a piece of crap, save your money. Get real lights (like PIAA or KC) or don't bother.

I had the Cycle Country Spotlight on my Honda Rancher I used to have...It never failed and came in handy LOTS while looking for illegals at night when they'd come through the yard...dern guys always got the dogs going like crazy in the summertime.

I think I'll put one on my Sportsman, I still live in a "high traffic" area for illegal migration.

It's not boring...rather comical when the Border Patrol shows up, they park, and go on foot w/maglights, I stay on my quad, and spotlight them...they're quick little devils! The agents are always appreciative...they know right where I live and almost know my voice!

One does tend to get a bit de-sensitized...living where they come through so often...it's all just an unfortunate truth of living down here...but, like anywhere else...there are pro's and con's.

The whole idea is for the FENCE to provide Sensitivity training.
