BOOYAH! Actually..I know, it's a little tough to get really excited about tie-downs....but when you go through several cheapies, these rock.

One set of advice....before you use them..Everytime...make a habit of unwinding the ratchet.

Hook the hook on your bumper...whatever. Push the ratchet over flat...then pull. You'll now be able to slide the ratchet anywhere up and down the strap. If you have any rub points....you put the ratchet in that spot and crank.

The main reason for this is....The strap is so thick, that it only takes a few ratchets to fill up the spool and then you'll find your self jammed up and pulling your heart out to get it to unspool.

All the other stuff rules.

LOL....Just take it from the advice of someone that has forgotten, then on the 2nd time attaching it...the spool filled up and before it's tight...it's jammed.

Now you're yanking your ass off to get it unspooled, so you can start over.

Carol, I see your selling your Kodiak..... I rode my 800 today. You rode my 700.... Trust me, the ride is the difference between night and day. You'd be crazy not to buy a Polaris.....

Also, we had a 2 seater outlander with us for awhile..... Until he rolled it (with his wife on the back). She got hurt..... Like I said, 2 seaters should be outlawed.

BTW - The Outlander still sounds like a lawn mower. Not even close to a Polaris..... More like a Honda.

Oh, trust me...it got tangled into a huge mess quite a few times! LOL...this was >me< while I was 'yanking my ass off'...lol

I was determined to figure it out! lol....

Yup, I'm selling my Kodiak...and yes, I agree between your 700 and my Kodiak there is no comparison...not having IRS on the Kodiak kills...I'd probably need to ride something like yours a little more to get use to it...
I have a couple ideas in the works as to what my next quad will be... :D

BTW...my friend Neil, with the Bomb....just told me he's maybe selling it and getting something else and I guess his GF is getting something too.

Speaking of two seater Bombs. The women who was riding on the back of the machine when they rolled it fractured her ankle... They where riding on a flat trail four miles from the truck when they rolled it.

Nice tribal art on that quad....;)

Sorry to hear about the woman that got hurt.

IMO it is dangerous to ride double even on machines that were "made" for it. What people don't understand is that there is more to just hopping on the back of a quad and "trusting" the one navagating that everything is going to be 'OK'.

Again, this goes right back to the reason people that have no idea need to take a safety course from someone that knows.

I will never ride double with anyone....I learned my lesson the hard way on that.

You know if we went word for word in the safety classes we would never go riding. No hills over 25%, Never turn on a hill, and so on..
