Interesting add-ons

Postby BruteForce » Wed Jan 19, 2011 4:54 am

Here are some great ideas I came across.

Flotation, snow & mud add-on (~$590 )
* Kawi 750: 25" Tires: 006 25 25 4/110

http://www.j-wheelz.com/index.html

Winch yourself backward (~$250)
* Doesn't seem to be available for Kawasaki *

Anybody have, used or seen these in action? Both seem kind of pricey. I imagine some of you CALI rock-hounds must have a reversaroller.

The Reversaroller looks really cool. It could be handy for when you get stuck in a snow drift going uphill and want to pull yourself back downhill.

My current winch mount needs some work anyway as the Yamaha guys mounted it in a way that blocks the free spool knob/switch on the end. I think I'll add this to my wish list.

Not right away but I'll have one before the riding season starts. So you're going to buy me a Reversaroller for my birthday? How generous of you! :P

I now have a ReversaRoller installed. I haven't had an opportunity to test it out yet (short of taking my machine on & off the trailer with it). The weather is not yet permissible for riding.

Excellent! I can't wait for your review. My birthday is still a few months away. If it sucks, I'll just buy myself a case of good tequila. :)

Hope that wasn't your Grizzly we spotted getting a drink in the creek. We pulled it out using the Reversaroller on my Can Am.

Here is another rescue after a Polaris got swept away in spring runoff in American Fork Canyon. (The Polaris may not ever run again) I don’t think I would trade my Reversaroller for a case of tequila.
