I'm not experienced on a snowmobile....but my instinct tells me...if you were alone in deep mountainous snow...then a winch would be a good safety feature.

But...if you're out with 2 or 3 buddies...unless the snowmobile was dead...I can't imagine you couldn't break free.

Thats stuck if you have to winch a snow mobile. I dont know if that 1.5 would pull one out if it was stuck in 4' of snow ,but I would get a winch if had a Snowmobile.You just might have to use a ( Snatch Block)
