HD Video adventures for cheap!

720p cameras for 170 dollars.

It stores it on HiCap SD cards. It's probably not a replacement for the pov1 or various bullet cams, but for people who want to start video for cheap it might be an option.

I read an article recently about how the camcorder market is set to change big time as digital cameras and video recorders will merge. THis looks like it address some of the concerns for camcorder evolution - namely that they are still too big for consumers. THis looks like a step in the right direction. Price is right too!

I like that it "Records video in H.264, MOV file format". That's native Final Cut Pro (Mac) format. :D

Odd that they don't say how many minutes of video you'll get per GB of SD card (or per card, whatever). But it is SDHC compatible per the spec sheet.

Rats, I wish it was waterproof... :-({|=

Have had no problem importing to FCP (studio 2)
