Dangerous Dorny's Custom Skids

Postby oldtrucks » Sun Nov 25, 2007 7:27 am

Every once in a while an ATV product comes along that breaks all the rules, stands head and shoulders above the competition, and just makes me wonder why I didn't think of it.

Well, here's the Dangerous Dorny's Custom Skids. Made from only the finest construction scrap available, a full 3/4" thick. Unlike that cheap 1/4" aluminum these babies take the abuse. They come custom fit to your machine and include 20' of custom bailing wire wrap. That's right, 20' of wire, none of them cheap ass tie wraps.

Out testing they take the abuse and keep on going. The ATV World's harshest critic, Lope, gives them the thumbs up and even offered up one of his coveted Labatts Blue to show his appreciation.

those are AWESOME. . . where can I get a set. . . I think that the 20' of bailing wire is what will really set these aside from those metal skid plates. . .

Good news - I found out that there are Dentists here in California!. Looks like I finally get to have my "summer teeth" rearranged to a more visually pleasing location.
I think D2 skidplates are going to catch on. I plan on having him custom cut a set for my ride. I would like the Techshield version if available. I wonder if he would be willing to updgrade the fasteners to hose clamps ?.

These are "Special Order Only", limited to the amount of construction scrap he can scavenge. Techshield is one of the upgrades, again, all based on available scrap. He's even talked about Formica and Corian, sweet! Hose clamps, we'll have to ask and see how Dorny feels about that. Order now for delivery by Christmas

You know it. All Dorny needs is a machine as a template and a skil saw. In no time he'll have a custom set of skids and a roll of wire tailor made for the RZR

I almost forgot, as part of his "Introductory Special", Dorny will include his special "Fencin Pliers" at no charge
