Cool!

If you plan to head out this way and ride, shoot me your E-mail and I'll send you my Tahoe/Plumas GPS map. You can load that along with the Utah maps. Mine is color-coded for difficulty, practically everything I've ridden is on there (plus some stuff I haven't hit yet) and this winter I'm hoping to improve it with what I learned on the ground this summer, like the locations of gates, private property signs, etc. Riding along with an *actual trail map* on your screen is a super-neat thing that you just have to experience to believe. :)

Thanks Cajungal. No I am not Bret Favre. I was born and raised in Utah, went to college in Utah, and then had to move east. Now I live 6 miles from the atlantic ocean beaches in southern DE. Lots of Flatland riding these days, except when me and a riding pal go up into PA. Some nice trails there.
I have ridden the Paiute trail several times, and last winter rode down by St George. I plan more trips west.
So for now I am just working on getting out of the Teal clothes.

I use Magellan XL. I REFUSED to initially go to Garmin, because Garmin used Proprietary memory...Magellan has always used STANDARD SD memory. So that's where I started 4 years ago.

Other people's tracks...has never been important to me...I use GPS Babel to convert anything I need to Magellan. I use the Magellan Topo's.
I just picked up the Magellan XL, cause I was getting lost driving home from work, lol. Never heard of GPS Babel, going to check it out.
