I have the ram 3000 with remote.............works fine. if i had it to do over I would get the 3000 with out the remote. less parts to install and less to break. so far have not needed the remote. Just my 2 cents....

So instead of "Is Totally Obsessed" you get "Spends to much time on the Internet"
