Today's Trailer Tip

Postby hemingray » Fri Jul 24, 2009 9:11 am

Just a reminder to check your trailers - tires, bearings, bolts, lights etc. I noticed there seemed to be some grease on the inside one of the wheels and I discovered one wheel bearing was slightly loose. It reminded me I really need to check everything from time to time! I tend to forget that simple thing behind the truck, but it needs checking out once in awhile too.

Here's a nifty device that's a lot better than scissor jacks, bottle jacks and the like on a trailer. It's an awesome timesaver! I got mine from Cabela's, but there is another brand out there also (Easy Lift). I've been carrying it for a long time, but this is the first time I've used it.

Or if you are lucky enough to get a flat near a farm...

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!
