Washington, Montana, Colorado & Moab Trip...

Postby GusinCA » Thu Sep 20, 2012 5:22 pm

So this Summer I took my daughter on our annual summer road trip, towing our Rhino. We started off near Seattle (I live in Southern California, and my wife and my daughter met me in Seattle via airliner, and I towed the Rhino up) at an amazing place called Evan's Creek, then headed towards Montana, then down through Yellowstone (the ranger at the gate looked a the Rhino and said "you know there's no trails here for that, right?" hahahaha) and into Colorado, had the most epic off roading of my life in the town of Marble, CO and then again in Ouray, CO (the Alpine Loop and 12,800 foot Engineer Pass in the snow...). After that came Moab where we tackled the Hell's Revenge slickrock trail in the early morning to avoid the heat.

Amazing trip, here's a slideshow of the pictures...

Can't wait to come up to the Tahoe area to meet with you guys sometime soon.

So let's say I drove up next Friday the 12th, and met you guys wherever you told me to for the Rubicon on Saturday morning, would that work?
I'd have to drive back Monday morning, so I could have 2 full days of off roading up there...

I figure the weather should still be nice, not too cold yet, no snow yet, not as busy as high summer... You guys are the experts, let me know...
