Water works in the Bowman Lake area

Postby hemingray » Mon Aug 06, 2012 9:37 pm

Spent Saturday doing some stub-end roads and seeking out some water works. I was well rewarded - and this involved some hiking since there were gates! Anyway, an easy 40-mile day, wondered whether I would get thunder and lightning'd. I didn't but it sure came during the night!

Anyway, new format folks - my old way of posting involved selecting photos, reducing their size, copying them to Photobucket, and then writing the post with embedded picture links. It was getting a bit old, so I'm trying something new - Smugmug galleries. I can still share the photos - and probably more than before, and it's much easier for me to create the galleries. You can find this ride's gallery HERE! Note that I've captioned each photo as always.

Let me know what you think about going to an external gallery for photos.

I hear you Dave...

What I do...I do all the photos on the site, similar to Smug....then post the link...and throw up a sample of 5-10 of the best ones.

Thanks - sometimes it's hard to capture a view - those caught the area fairly well. It was a nice find. That area is on my list for next spring - as early as I can get in while the creeks are running higher.
