05-12-12 Bryant Mountain

Postby ACLakey » Sat May 12, 2012 6:11 pm

Bryant Mountain is one of my favorite areas to ride in the spring due to the numerious creeks and lakes in the area. There wasn't any snow this trip but my Dad, Daughter and a friend of ours had a good trip. We went around 32mi total and had a blast.

Unloading and getting ready to ride.

A few miles up the road we stopped for a nice view.

Lots of water this time of year.

The loop takes us by ten or so lakes and small reservoirs...I did not take pictures of them all, we were too busy riding.

A neat little spot called Mc Coy springs.

We crossed quite a few creeks....Trin loved it.

We stopped for lunch at Smith Reservoir and Trinity had to chase some butterflies around.

We made our way around the East side of the mountain and looked around.

Good times had by all.
