I left Saturday morning, to beat the storm. I did. It started snowing while driving the quad to the Kiosk. Scott and Desmond got there a couple hours later. By then...it was nasty. The next morning though, was spectacular.

Here's the LONG video.....but it's cool. Lots of great scenery.

We ended up staying in the Kiosk....it was blowing so hard...setting up a tent would have been entertaining....

Desmond made it up most of the bowl ( I didn't film it...it was boring!!!!) LOL. Desmond's rig has a 426 to 1 ratio.....so when he goes into crawl mode...the word crawl is too fast. So the steep drop and the S turn, he used this thing called a Snow anchor?? It look like a long rod with a plowing blade...it goes in, and the winching pressure, drives it in deeper. But it pulls right now. The rest of it....HE SUPER CRAWLED. His tires I think he said were 44" and 22" wide on 16" wide rims...on 14 bolt axles. He's made for snow wheeling..that's for sure.

Scott Johnston is the president of the RTF. Scott's nickname is Cruzilla...and he has a Godzilla on his hood all the time. :)

I liked the sidehill crawling - that machine just looks flat competent at going through snow.

Yeah...wasn't that bad ass.

She's definitely a snow machine with those tires. 16" wide rims....that's beefy.

Ohhh I love snow. That looks like there's no way a Rhino could get in there without massive snow tracks.

Maybe I need to start saving for them. Just not enough snow down here to justify the cost, but after seeing that video, hmmmm... :)

I found mine on Craigslist...in 2009. Got 'em for 2K. Just keep your eye open.
