Indian Springs Staging area to Nowhere

Well the lady at the Tahoe National Forest office told me over the phone that the trail was a jeepers trail and she didn't think we could make it to Meadow Lake on an ATV, I thought she probably was talking about the average person on an atv.

It was a very challenging trail but we made it about seven miles before we ran into a group of rock crawlers that had spent the night on the trail, we asked them if it gets easier and they told us it gets harder. We decided to head back the way we came.

I think we will stage at Bowman Lake to reach the town of Washington for lunch next time.

The trail was easy at the beginning.

We found a more shallow place to cross the creek on the way back through.

I thought that was a bit of an ambitious plan - the Fordyce and Washington in the same day... Nice pics - cool crossing.

You should come on the Miyagi weekend next year and ride both!
