Yep, GPS tracks - just wondering where you unload and then ride from. I'm thinking of taking the quad next time we go to Reno and doing a day trip.

It's pretty easy to find...
Take HWY50 East through Carson City and the next town you come to is Dayton. When you first come into Dayton you will see a Chevron station on the right, turn right after the Chevron which is Main St. It will immediately turn into a bridge that crosses the Carson River. After you cross the river take the next right onto Ricci Rd and follow signs to the Rodeo Arena. If you are just going for a day trip you can safely park your vehicle somewhere out of the way near the arena and ride from there. As you begin down the road past the arena you will eventually see the big "D" for Dayton on the side of a mountain... stay on the road to the left of the "D" which brings you into ElDorado Canyon which is where a majority of the above pictures were taken.
I just got on Google Earth and found the area we camp which is @ 39*10'45.05N 119*33'36.70"W and is located just slightly South East of ElDorado Canyon Reservoir which is now a hugh dried up lake bed full of Cotton Wood trees...

i checked on google earth too, you can see the huge patch of cotton woods. thanks for the detailed directions. i just might be riding out there sooner than later. with all the bad weather in california and snow pack. Nevada's going to be the place for alot of riding befor it heats up out there.
