Myself and a couple friends went on an exploratory ride into an area neither of us had been in for a few years.  We unloaded with a little show around and 25 deg temps....it was sunny though. :)

It didn't take long to find a reason to take some pictures.

About 15mi into the ride we came across a road we could not remember going on so we had to explore it.  Not .25mi from the turn we found a small herd of wild horses.

Farther into the canyon we found a good place for a break.

Great views on the climb back out

A great morning and a fun 42mi

The snow is still around 8 feet deep. We're finally supposed to be getting some warmer weather so hopefully the serious melting will start.

Wild horses!!!!! Come on up to Reno and you can watch them eating lawns and flower beds in South Reno. All the transplants from Cali complian about picking up horse pop in their driveways and running over it with their BMW's going to work.
