Video: Utah - Tintic Mountains

Postby BruteForce » Thu Sep 16, 2010 5:16 am

I took yesterday off to get up to elevation before the snow falls. Upon reaching the summit, I was buzzed by an Army Apache helicopter. I put together two quick videos of my riding. I'm not as talented as GG at video making, so bear with me.

This one (at present) requires Facebook, but is being uploaded to Vimeo as I type this:

Nice!

Good work on the flag at the end of the first one. I never thought of doing that, maybe next year I'll get a bunch of Gadsden Flags and start adorning our peaks. The Gadsden Flag seems to really tick off the liberals around here so it would be perfect. Maybe also setup one of those hidden game cameras so as to snap shots of whatever liberal decides to take them down.

The intro music in the second one immediately made me think of the Autobahn. Me thinks that is what you were after and it worked!

=D>

P.S. - What camera are you using on your helmet?

Wow - awesome. I'm calling YOU when I come to Utah!

I liked the Boundary Trail video too. My wife has family in SLC, I have to figure a way to bring the ATV there.

Where is the trailhead for the Tintic Mountain Trail? I would like to check it out before it snows.

Thanks.

I actually like to start at either the SW staging area at 5Mile Pass or in the Little Moab area. You can go to my blog site (utahbruteforce.com) and get GPS coordinates for many of the great trails in that area.
