No Miyagi ride

Postby traildad » Mon Sep 15, 2008 8:21 pm

My wife didn't get to go to White Rock Lake on my last trip so I took her there this weekend. We were going to ride over to Meadow Lake Saturday night to meet everyone but she hurt her hand and had to limit her riding. It sounds like everyone had a great time. The photos of the Fordyce trail look extreme. Since I am a charter member in D2's PETA club I wouldn't be able to make that ride.  I am glad everyone made it back to camp safely. We had a nice peaceful trip to White Rock Lake. We got up to Little Truckee Summit at about 9:00pm Friday night. We were setting up camp around 12:30am. It was a nice ride in at night and not too cold as long as we kept it under 20mph or so. We stopped by Lake of the Woods on the way out. That is also a nice little lake. The ride from White Rock Lake back to Little Truckee Summit is beautiful. Thanks again Grizzly Guy.

PS I forgot to add that we saw someone from the group while we were heading home. He was parked at the turnoff to White Rock Lake. The ATV Obsession sticker in the rear window gave him away. :D

White Rock Lake at 1:20 am.

I can't decide which of these two I like best.

Hey Ken....we missed you!

Not everyone did the extreme ride Ken....that's why we like Meadow Lake...sumptin' for everyone.

Yea I was torn. I had to make sure I got Sharon into White Rock before the snow falls. Now that I see you have already posted a date for next year I can plan ahead. :D

Nice shots, traildad - love the night shot! Cool!

I'm going to try to plan on hanging out next year too, as fun as Saturday was, I definitely missed the socializing!
