Hell Hole

Postby ATV'er » Sun Sep 07, 2008 8:25 am

What a great trail. I was impressed with it. I read on other forum boards that it wasnt to hard but it was actually pretty tough in a few areas. I pinch flatted my brand new big horns on the rear so with 3-4 plugs in the tire we made it back out. Brett did great for only having 2 wheel drive. Certain parts are alot like the Rubicon. The best part was we never saw another person up there wheeling. Check out the pictures.

Here is a few more.

Pumping back up my tire after stuffing plugs into it.

On the way back out. Yes that is a winch line. Figured I would take it easy after blowing out a tire and I winched brett up at the same time

Wow, I can't believe you did that to your tire!! How much air were you running?? Think the plugs are going to hold?

Yeah, that looks pretty much like I remember. It's just a short trail is all, but with obstacles like that, short is good. :)

I was running 3.5 lbs recomended by Ken. I did it out on the sand and happend to catch one rock that was in the sand just right. Im trying to decide if I just want to patch it from the inside or order another new tire. I am leaning towards a new tire and patching it if I don't have it in time for next weekend.

Dude...you had to be going fast to do that or just really unlucky....I've got 1000 miles on my BigHorns...running between 3 and 4...mostly 3.5 and never a pinch.

Just unlucky. I was going 10 - 15in the sand and hit one unlucky rock. I did the exact same thing when I got the 589's.

Did not fish there but should of. Fished a creek on the way back though but did not do any catching.
