Bear Lake (Utah/Idaho)
Spent the day yesterday exploring the trails to the South/West of Bear Lake (all the way up to Logan Canyon / US89). Here are a few photos from yesterday's outing.
Today, we plan on riding further up the North West side where we encountered some of the most butt puckering trails around. I hope to send photos of those tonight.

Here are some additional photos from the North/West of Bear Lake.
On a scale of 1-5 (5 being hardest), this section of trail riding was easily a 5+
-Elevation
-Rocks
-Tree roots
-Low fallen tress obstructing the trail
-Deep snow drifts
-Severe off camber
-Loose soil
-Wild animals (moose, badger and a mountain lion)

Quite a bit of riding in that part of the country, but this is the spot <N 41° 57.566 W 111° 27.182> where (if you go all the way up and beyond) to this point: N41 58.599 W111 27.763, you'll certainly earn your ride for that day!Kendo wrote:Looks awesome! The helmet came in handy on this last trip:
While trying to come back, we came across a 25' long by 2.5' thick snow drift and we had no choice but to cross it. My brother-in-law (on his Yamaha motorcycle) went through no issue. I got a slight running start, hydro-planed the entire distance, got sideways and flipped the Kawi ATV, landing hard on the rocks off the snow drift. I have some great bruises, abrasions and lacerations to show for it, but at least I didn't crack open my pumpkin!
